Bbc Show Reveals London Mayor Boris Johnsons Royal Roots
Boris Johnson is a distant congeneric of the British Royal Family, it has been revealed.
The BBC's genealogy programme Who Do you Think You Are? has observed that the London city manager is the great x eight grandson of King George II.
Johnson's paternal gran, Yvonne Eileen Williams - known in his family as Granny Butter - was the daughter of Marie-Louise de Pfeffel, a descendant of German prince Paul Von Wurttemburg.
He was, in turn, a conduct descendant of George II.
And as well as his golf links to the present British Royal Family, Johnson is also joined to the Swedish and Dutch royals as well as the Romanoff dynasty.
However, the discovery does non foreshadow Johnson taking the throne in a real world echo of the comedy film King Ralph - he shares his relative to George II with 1,023 other people.
"If you had told me that I was related to to George II, I would receive thought you were absolutely crackers, non even Granny Butter could have come up with that one," the mayor commented.
"I would have been terribly proud just to have been related to the German King but I can't hide it from you that regular in our common European home, I am in particular thrilled to have some British Royal Ancestry as well."

Keira 'Eats Like A Horse'
Far from being anorexic, Keira Knightley has to "eat like a horse" to keep her weight up, according to her mom.
The waif-like Pirates of the Caribbean star has been dogged throughout her career by false claims that she has an eating disorder.
The 23-year-old actress has constantly denied the rumors and even successfully sued a British tabloid last year after it claimed she was a bad role-model for young women.
Now Keira's screenwriter mother, 57, has told Britain's Sunday Times newspaper that her daughter has simply inherited her father's stick-thin figure.
Sharman MacDonald told the paper that Keira's dancer dad, Will Knightley, 62, has always struggled to put on weight and that the actress also has to "eat like a horse" to stay at healthy size.
�She has always been thin," said Sharman, who wrote the soon-to-be released movie Edge of Love, starring Keira and Sienna Miller.
"She�s her daddy�s daughter, with his long body.�

Late Of The Pier Ready Fantasy Black Channel Album
Late Of The Pier have named their debut album, provided a release date and confirmed which songs will make the record.
As previously reported, the tipped band worked with producer Erol Alkan on the twelve songs that will make-up 'Fantasy Black Channel'. The release date for this full-lengther is August 11th.
A quick glance at the song titles and you should recognise some from past singles - 'Bathroom Gurgle', The Bears are Coming and the recent double a-side Focker / Space And The Woods.
'Heatbeat' will also be the next single from Late Of The Pier, preceding the album by a week on August 4th

The frontman for one of the most revered British bands of the eighties and '90s, Ian Brown symbolized the self-important cocksureness of his mouthpiece, the Stone Roses. Although the chemical group released nonpareil of the trinity or four most influential records of the ten in 1989 (their debut, at that), they lento imploded during the early '90s and released only one more than album earlier splitting up. Guitarist/songwriter John Squire formed a new band, Seahorses, while bassist Mani (Gary Mounfield) joined Primal Scream. Brown inaugurated his post-Stone Roses vocation with a 1998 solo LP, Unfinished Monkey Business. The album was recorded with the serve of ex-Roses replacement guitar player Aziz Ibrahim, only spotlighted a more emotionally divers coming to music-making than expected. The excellent follow-up, Aureate Greats, arrived in the States in early 2000, and Music of the Spheres followed one class after. In 2003, Brown contributed a volume in the Under the Influence series and had a cameo in the third Harry Potter pic, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. The side by side class Brown released Solarized, his most varied and politically charged record to date. He worked with hip-hop producer Emile and an alternative supergroup (featuring Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Paul Ryder) for 2007's The World Is Yours.
