Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale are painting their new baby nursery black, femalefirst.co.uk reports.
Rossdale, who already has a two-year-old son Kingston with Stefani, has revealed the couple are shunning traditional pastel shades in favour of a gothic theme.
The rocker told America�s OK! magazine: �We are going to put him in a black room. It�ll be a goth baby so it doesn�t matter if it is a boy or a girl.�
Despite being tempted, the couple still haven�t found out the sex of their unborn baby. Rossdale said: �We don�t know if it�s a boy or a girl yet.�
The British musician has also revealed he and Stefani are having difficulty explaining to Kingston that he will soon have a younger brother or sister.
He said in an interview with website bild.de: �We try to explain the pregnancy to him, but I�m not sure if he understands what�s going on. I think the birth of the new baby is going to be a big shock for Kingston!�
